The Montenegrin sea works like a natural filter: the water shifts from turquoise to deep blue depending on depth, and the sunset light turns an ordinary shot into something magazine-worthy.
Best Time for a Beach Photo Session
- Morning (7:00–9:00 AM) — empty beaches, soft side light, cool air. Ideal for family and children’s shoots
- Golden Hour (1–1.5 hours before sunset) — warm orange light, long shadows. Perfect for couples and portraits
- Midday (11 AM–4 PM) is the worst: harsh overhead light, deep shadows under eyes, overheated children

- Sveti Stefan The most photogenic view of the country. Tiled roofs, turquoise water, mountains
- Viewpoint above Sveti Stefan In addition to the well-known viewpoint near the Church of St. Sava, there is an alternative, lesser-known but equally impressive option.
- Cliffs in the Miločer Park A location for the brave. But the result is amazing!
- Olive grove in Miločer Park A magical place that looks beautiful at any time and in any light.
- Perast is quiet, as if from a postcard, there are fewer tourists. It is good for families with children.
- Mogren Beach Wild beach near Budva, rocks, sea caves.
- Serpentine Kotor-Lovcen Many picturesque spots with a view of the Bay of Kotor.
- Rafailovici A fishing village, reflections in the water of the Bay of Kotor, and an amazing rock.

Do you shoot in the water?
Yes — I wade in up to my knees. Shots from water level are some of the most beautiful. My equipment is protected.
What if the sea is rough?
Waves add energy and movement. If a child is nervous around water, we shoot at the shoreline or on the rocks.
Can we shoot at sunset when the beach is crowded?
Yes. I know angles that cut the crowd out of the frame. If an empty beach is essential — we choose morning.
