What if I “Can’t Be Photographed”?
“I can’t be photographed” means “I can’t pose.” These are different things. I don’t ask you to pose. I talk with you, suggest something to do or say, and shoot in the moment of reaction. Within 10–15 minutes, most people forget about the camera. That’s when the real session begins.
Best locations for Portrait Sessions in Montenegro
- Budva Old Town — narrow lanes, stone walls, soft diffused light in the shade
- Olive groves — trees 1,000–2,000 years old, bark as texture, silver-green leaves
- Kotor — UNESCO heritage, medieval walls, flowers, cats
- Sveti Stefan — the island view on the horizon. I shoot here at sunset
- Lake Skadar — calm water, reflections, mountains for thoughtful portraits
Do I need hair and make-up?
For women — it helps. Even light make-up works better in sunlight. I can recommend stylists in Budva.
Can we do a couples session without a special occasion?
Absolutely. A couples session is about the relationship, not an event.
How many outfits should I bring?
For a standard session — 2 looks.
Do you retouch skin?
Basic colour, retouch and light editing — yes. Deeper skin retouching — on request.
