Family Photographer in Budva: Sunrise Shoot in Old Town

I’ll be honest: sunrise family shoots are always a wild card. Especially when the oldest daughter is seven and has her own strong opinions about the morning, and the baby is just turning one and couldn’t care less about the adults' plans.

At one point in Budva’s Old Town, everything went completely off-script. There were tantrums, stubbornness, and a lot of attitude. But that’s exactly when the very thing I look for in every single shoot kicked in—real life. Not some polished, magazine-style fiction, but your life. The pink sun is just rising over the sea, dad is catching the baby, mom is hugging their daughter, and within all this chaos, there’s a level of warmth you could never rehearse in a studio.

We simply let go and started catching the moment. And oh, that terracotta stroller! It matched the roof tiles of Budva so perfectly, it felt like the city itself was playing along, adding the finishing touch to a perfect frame. The moods melted away, leaving nothing but pure joy.
